Hey there everyone..stopping to say hi, and checking in..i am still here..i know i have been away for a while, but RL has taken over more than anything....taken care of our granddaughter who now lives with us and Chucky getting ready to graduate and leave for basic..on the countdown, less than a month away. Also had some medical problems recently that put me back in hospital and now each week have to go back for treatments, meds are horrible and make me sick so im out for couple days then by the time i start to recover some its back to hospital for another treatment.
I miss everyone and will make it back to TS and gaming as soon as i possibly can...

Hello Fellow Geezers,

I am slowly making my return to PC gaming. I have upgraded my processor and was hoping to be online with my new graphics card, but the USPS decided differently. Anyway, looking to get back into gaming with all of my fellow Geezers. I did try to get on TS tonight, however, I was unable to get past the lobby. Anyone that can help with that? Well, since I'm limited on my gaming until graphics card, I'm going to play some WOW and WOT tonight. I am signed into my Steam, so if I can access TS later, someone hit me up there.

Remember me? Haven't spoken to any of you guys in ages!

The last any of you heard from me I was probably still doing my degree, and I know I'd talked a bit about what I wanted to do after I graduate. Well, I just thought I'd let you know what I'm doing with my life.

I secured a job at a major software development company over here in England, we design and provide Accounting software for a lot of big companies over here in the UK (and a few in the US, and other places - main client base over here). I am currently working in the Support department, as IT tech, I guess you could say. It's mostly problem solving in our software, but I'm learning a lot and enjoying it immensely, the people are great. I am also training to become a consultant, which means when I qualify I will be doing a lot of traveling to client sites to configure, install and code their software. We will also have to provide training courses, etc.

So life is going well for me, obviously my gaming has dropped off slightly. I still play the odd thing but I don't have anything I'm truly hooked on any more. Might get a copy of CoD4 installed and come back to play (if anyone still is, I saw a post about it) with you guys at some point. I'll drop into TeamSpeak at some point too.

Just thought I'd check in with you guys. Hope you are all well.

I didn't know until sparksman told me that it had been stuck on one map for months now and one gametype.. got the info to get into the servers settings and fixed it and now its back up to a stock game with normal map rotation.. just look for geezergaming mixed.. so lets reinstall it and get some games going.. the best cod out of the bunch in my opinion
